WhatsApp ordering is a first-class feature, not a bolt-on. Customers send a message, browse a conversational menu, confirm their order, and pay — all without leaving WhatsApp. For restaurants in East Africa where WhatsApp is the primary communication channel, this removes friction that traditional ordering apps create. Orders placed via WhatsApp route directly into the same kitchen queue as in-restaurant orders. Staff see the same unified order stream regardless of how the order arrived.

The Kitchen Display System replaces paper tickets and shouted orders with a clear, prioritized screen at each station. Orders appear instantly when placed, colour-code by urgency, and clear when marked done. Multiple stations — grill, prep, pastry — can each display only the items relevant to them.
